Black & White

I bought this Equipment lace black and white shirt on The Outnet late last year and absolutely love it. It's feminine and classic at the same time and you can't go wrong with black and white. See a similar style here.

My latest shoe find is United Nude who strangely feature elastic on their heels that cover up my tattoo while I continue to remove it. They are also a great height for me as I'm a 3 inch heel kind of girl (unless it's a formal occasion). I've really struggled with buying shoes in the past 12 months as a faded tattoo is not a good look. Ballet flats have been struck out, so I'm really looking forward to wearing them again early next year. The moral of the story is (surprise, surprise)...don't get a tattoo! NHG x

June Wardrobe Wish List

I'm really over anything that isn't a wardrobe classic at the moment. I can't be bothered with 'trends' when the seasons don't really act the way they are meant to anyway...why buy a wardrobe of pretty summer dresses when you'll be wearing them with black tights? Defeats the purpose.

Everything I've purchased in the past few months are items that are going to last until I can't wear them anymore.

Here are a few of my favourite items at the moment. I'm particularly lusting over the M Missoni contrast collar dress with its removable collar - such a style classic. NHG x

Belstaff Biker Boots

Since summer has forgotten to show up in England this year, I've decided to skip my sandal purchases and focus on items that are far more suitable to our permanent state of mild weather.

I basically live in flat boots and my Mea Shadow boots died a few weeks ago, so I snapped up these Belstaff Biker Boots from mywardrobe.com as soon as their "Summer" sale began. They are beautiful quality, made in Italy and I know they will be a wardrobe staple for the next few seasons. NHG x

NHG Travels: Phuket

As I mentioned in this post, we attended an amazing wedding in Thailand back in April. While most people cringe when you say the word 'Phuket', the entire wedding party still hasn't stopped talking about what a fabulous holiday it was!

We stayed at the Twinpalms resort in Surin Beach which I can not recommend highly enough. With a luxurious 24 hour pool, fun beach bar/club (great for group holidays) and tropical setting, it was definitely the best hotel I've ever stayed in.

If you have a large budget, Sri Panwa (where the wedding ceremony and reception were held) was absolutely jaw-dropping with infinity pools and the most stunning view. The bride and groom stayed in a villa here which featured a pool around the entire perimeter of it - they could literally dive in at any time (even from their bed!).

As this was just a short trip, we are planning to go back to Thailand. Where do you recommend in Thailand (or Asia in general)? NHG x
