I'm really over anything that isn't a wardrobe classic at the moment. I can't be bothered with 'trends' when the seasons don't really act the way they are meant to anyway...why buy a wardrobe of pretty summer dresses when you'll be wearing them with black tights? Defeats the purpose.

I know exactly what you mean - I'm compiling an 'investment piece' list and ticking it off slowly. I'd rather have a wardrobe full of wearable basics than trends that just don't suit me, or that I'm bored of in a month!

Those Chloe boots caught my eye - I have one pair of wedge boots and I find them so comfortable in the winter I wear them all the time. Another great classic style with a modern twist.

I'll have the oversize white shirt please! I have the same philosophy around the clothes I'm buying right now - I'll only buy it if it fits with the rest of my wardrobe and will be 'in' for more than a month.
