ghd air review

When I was recently contacted to try the new ghd air, I was absolutely thrilled as I've been a fan of the brand for the past decade. The original ghd hair straightener revolutionised the way we style our hair forever, and fortunately for me my sister was a hairdresser at the time, so I got used to steal borrow her straightener before I finally invested in one myself (it's still good as new).

Surprisingly, ghd have only recently launched their first professional hairdryer - the ghd air. I've been thinking about buying a new hairdryer for awhile, as anything that makes the monotonous chore of drying my hair easier is worth the investment in my opinion.

What I've noticed most about the air is that it is light, quiet, dries my hair fast, and the 3 metre power cable allows me to plug it outside my bathroom and use it in front of the mirrors. I absolutely love it.

The key features of this hairdryer include:
  •     Professional strength 2,100 Watt
  •     Advanced ionic technology
  •     Variable power & temperature controls, including cool shot
  •     Ergonomic design for right & left handed users
  •     3m power cable

The ghd air retails for £99 and you can buy it online here.

Disclosure: I was gifted the ghd air for review purposes. The opinions are completely my own based on my experience of using the ghd air for two weeks. No payment was received.

  1. I use a Parlux hairdryer and Cloud Nine straighteners, I've used GHDs before but wanted a change.

  2. This seems to be a good hair dryer. The features have attracted me and honestly i want to order one. 2100 watt of power will require a good cables and fitting internally and the reputation of the company reflects it clearly. Great post, keep posting.
