My workspace

I was recently interviewed about my blogging space on Ondo Lady. While I'd love to say that I blog at my desk all the time, I much prefer the couch...

I do keep it looking pretty with fresh flowers, diptyque candles and my vintage map of Australia from Portobello Market, so at least it serves some kind of purpose! ;)

Where do you like to blog/write when you are at home? NHG x

  1. Oh it's lovely, even if you don't use it all the time, it's just perfect. Mine looks like this: http://www.misslucyloves.com/2012/01/project-home-diy-chalkboard-calendar.html x

    1. I love your chalkboard calendar Lucy! I've had to stop myself from buying chalkboard paint a few times. I want to use it on jars and paint a wall in my kitchen. It will have to wait until I own my own house though (don't think my landlord will appreciate it!). De x

  2. Oh my gosh, so neat! I blog when cooking dinner, at the kitchen table, on the bathroom floor when our youngest is in the bath, in front of the tv and on the loo (lid down!) when dying my hair but no where as chic as your desk!

  3. Your desk is lovely, where's it from? I usually sit at our dining table to write blog posts on my laptop, and on our sofa to read blogs on my ipad!

    1. Thanks Becky, it's actually from Ikea! It's called the MICKE desk http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/40180042/

  4. Love your work space, a simple white desk always looks great, I got rid of my desk a few years and ago and replaced with a wardrobe, but I think I need a desk again as work from home sometimes and also doing more of my art work!

  5. Your space is so lovely! I usually work from my desk which is right in front of a window - I love looking out over the trees in the West Village and I can see the spire of the Empire State Building when I look up - it always gives me a little thrill to realize that I actually live in New York (even after a year)!

    1. I would love my desk to be by the window, but in London we have radiator heaters on our walls which prevent me from using many walls in our flat (drives me mad)! How amazing to be able to see the Empire State Building from your flat!!!
