Sass & Bide can do no wrong in my eyes - they are the queens of Australian fashion. I've had their Life is A Highway dress on my net-a-porter wish list for a little while now so I was excited to snap it up in Melbourne for around 40% off the UK price.
Unfortunately we were running late for dinner in St Kilda with friends so this is the only photo I have (you probably don't need to see the after party photos either...).
New Year's Eve this year was one of my favourites in recent years. I don't know about you, but it feels like there is so much pressure for this one evening a year to be a great one! We booked a dinner for 10 friends in St Kilda followed by a house party in nearby Elwood (both seaside suburbs of Melbourne). Mr Porter and I booked a room at Urban Hotel so we could simply walk home at 3am by the sea, enjoying the fact that it was still around 25c after an extremely hot day.
It was kinda perfect...NHG x
