I recently blogged about the fact that I'd found the perfect leopard print coat from Sandro...so I was very disappointed when I looked on their website on the weekend to discover is it approx. €950! Ouch.
It was price that put me off the 'other' perfect See by Chloe leopard print coat a few years ago too, so clearly nice leopard print comes at a price.
Of course this is London and there are always fabulous high street alternatives, so when I spotted this Topshop premium oxblood coat this week, I snapped it up right away! I not only love the colour, I like the price too - at £130 it's great considering it's 70% wool with a leather trim. What kind of coat is on your wish list this autumn/winter? NHG x

This is a gorgeous colour. I love the Sandro coats though that is a little steep for my budget too (though cost per wear in the UK!) xxx
ReplyDeleteLove the colour! I have a few winter coats so I doubt I'll be buying one this year.
ReplyDeleteI had tried an Etoile Isabel Marant coat a year ago at Merci but it was sold out before I left to live in New York. And when I went back home in July I saw a similar model in stores. Of course I bought it this time :-)
ReplyDeleteThe Sandro coat is, indeed, beautiful.
ReplyDeletePerhaps a (bloody generous!) loved one could buy it as a gift to cover the next twenty year's worth of birthdays/Christmases...? ;0)

I'm after a really long coat this winter, one that goes all the way down to the floor but it also fitted enough to look as though it's not totally drowning me... I haven't found the perfect one yet, so if you see any (black, obviously!) let me know!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of you returning to a country that stays so warm all year round. NYC summers kinda cancel out the winters but it can get so cold here... I need to invest in wellies too this winter!
