One of my absolute favourite blogs at the moment is A Pair & a Spare who captivated me for a whole evening with her Wardrobe Rehab series. It really got me thinking as I don't really plan what I want to buy and to be honest, it's got to stop.
Here's the deal...I'm a big online shopper and if I see something I like, I buy it if it's within budget. In saying that, I don't have a wardrobe exploding with clothes as I literally gave away everything I owned 3 years ago and arrived in London with a 40kg suitcase! I also pride myself on constantly purging my wardrobe of unwanted clothes and regularly donate to charity shops or sell on Ebay, as I can't stand clutter.
BUT...packing for Melbourne this weekend has made me realise that I have a wardrobe full of prints and I'm missing a lot of key basic pieces. So I finally made a list (hurruh!) and went shopping to start the process of filling the gaps in my wardrobe.
Below is my unfinished shopping list so please let me know what your must-have pieces are as I'd love to know! I promise to show you my key pieces on here soon...NHG x

hehe... I basically only have things from your basics list. I have to say am a bit surprised to see which items you miss. On the other hand I am realizing now how boring my (everyday) wardrobe is. I live in black skinnies and a breton top. ;-/
ReplyDeleteI know, it's ridiculous that I don't own these things right? I want to live in black skinnies and a breton top...if only I could find the perfect pair! x
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT!:)
ReplyDeleteMy basics are: jeans, LBD and white shirts, I also need 1 pair of shoes and 1 pair of heels, minimum!haha
xxx gorgeous!
Great work! Breton tops are a must. I wear mine all the time. So great to do a bit of an edit and work out how to put some great outfits together effortlessly. Love to see what you're taking to melbourne (jealous!)

I love your style. Especially in the first picture. Well co-ordinated colour scheme and those pants are superbly cut.
