I absolutely love British brand Whistles, so I was very excited when they opened their new conceptual store just down the road at Westfield London in Shepherd's Bush this week. Since Jane Sheperdson (ex-Topshop) took the reigns in 2008 the brand has gone from strength to strength and it is now a firm favourite among the fashion pack. The new store has a laid back minimalist interior, with Danish furniture a key feature. It also features a new personal shopping area at the back which is a first for the brand...potentially very dangerous for me!
I currently have four Whistles dresses that I rotate between work and play.I particularly like the fact that most of their dresses are made of silk and feature original prints that are just divine. The only problem I have with the brand is that (like most brands) sizing can be a bit hit and miss, but overall their designs are very flattering and I could honestly buy the whole store at the moment.

Would love to see which Whistles dresses you have - i have a couple from last season, I really like Whistles but find them a bit expensive!! i did a post a little while ago where I tried on some Whistles tops..
ReplyDeleteThanks for you comments Blighty - you made my evening! I'll try to post my dresses as I wear them constantly. I agree it is a bit expensive but I always try to buy up when they have a discount on or House of Fraser is having a sale. I figure if I spend double on a Whistles dress, I'll wear it so much that it probably ends up cheaper than a H&M dress on a cost per wear. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it!
